Does not come with a gasket and probably should. Had to improvise to make a new gasket that the motor sits on. Old one worn out. Little to no suction without solid gasket. None available at local vacuum shops. Had to make one out of weather stripping. Otherwise, needed to connect wires with wire nuts. Seems to have similar suction as old one. Overall pleased.
